Thawiphum Techaphan

Thawiphum Techaphan (Theo) had an early passion for photography and had the remarkable opportunity to compete in Season 2 of History Channel’s Photo Face Off, where he won the Thailand competition and subsequently placed third among Southeast Asian winners in Cebu, Philippines. 

In 2026 he graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Image Arts Photography Program. During his time studying at TMU, his photographs were featured in Maximum Exposure 28 & 29 exhibition. He has also had his work exhibited in TMU Image Arts 3rd year show and thesis in Maximum Exposure 30. He had his work published in four different magazines across both Thailand and Canada. 

Now currently based in Sudbury Ontario, Canada working at the Legend Boats Head Office as a Marketing Coordinator. Thawiphum has had the ability to develop the skill sets he learnt at TMU, organising and leading the pre-production for Legend Boats’ marketing campaigns and media assets for Legend Boats and dealers, creating images, planning and preparing social media content, and creating and posting short form video content for social media. Additionally, the technical abilities Thawiphum gained from TMU has allowed him to manage digital deliverable marketing materials for Legend Boats and dealers, manage Legend Boats media assets website, and be heavily involved in the digital organisation and post production processes, utilising many of the Adobe Creative Cloud suites.   

Whether behind the lens, coordinating pre-production and post-production processes, Thawiphum is able to adapt to the environment by utilising his leadership, creative, and technical skills sets to ensure reliable, accurate, and quality results.
